ALLENDALE, N.J., March 21, 2012 - The Allendale Community for Mature Living, a leading provider of assisted living, memory care services and skilled long-term and hospice care, is hosting a free continuing education unit (CEU) program for nursing and social worker professionals on Tuesday, March 27 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Offered in partnership with Compassionate Care Hospice, the two-part "Ethical Issues in End-of-Life Care" and "Communication: The Key to Excellent Care" program will be held at The Atrium Assisted Living and include a complimentary dinner.
The program is approved by the NASW-NJ Chapter for two contact hours. Prospective attendees are required to pre-register by calling Joel Goldin at (201) 818-4499 by Friday, March 23. Hot and cold passed hors d'ouvres, a gourmet dinner and refreshments will be served, courtesy of The Allendale Community. A cocktail reception begins at 5 p.m. in The Atrium Lounge.
The Atrium is one of four senior living options available at The Allendale Community, which is a physician-owned continuum of care campus. In addition to The Atrium, The Allendale Community includes Carlton Court, a memory care neighborhood; The Allendale Nursing Home; and The Rehabilitation Center at The Allendale Community. Each is easily accessible via private driveway access off of Route 17 South. The Allendale Community is located at 85 Harreton Rd., in Allendale, N.J.
