Walters Staff Works with Family Promise to Make Holidays Brighter
BARNEGAT, N.J., Dec. 8, 2021 – Walters, an award-winning developer, has partnered with Family Promise of Southern Ocean County, a local nonprofit, to assemble and distribute 35 food baskets to residents living in income-restricted housing in Ocean County.
“The holidays can be stressful and we wanted to make this Thanksgiving a little brighter for the families living in our income-restricted communities,” said Jennifer Pampalone, social services coordinator for Walters. “We’ve worked with Family Promise in the past to deliver food baskets over the holidays and we hope to continue the tradition for our resident population.”
Pampalone works in tandem with Walters’ property managers to provide specialized programming for residents living in family and senior (55+) income-restricted communities located throughout New Jersey.
Family Promise is a nonprofit which works with volunteers from faith and community-based organizations in Southern Ocean County to provide temporary shelter, meals and supportive services to struggling families with children under the age of 18.
