ALLENDALE, N.J., July 22, 2014 – A full calendar of events will take place this August at The Atrium Assisted Living at The Allendale Community for Senior Living. All events are free and open to the public as follows:
- Fri., Aug. 8: Shakespeare Theater of New Jersey will present, “Midsummer Night’s Dream,” sponsored by the Brusco Family Foundation and The Lee Memorial Library. Come enjoy a live performance of a Shakespearean classic at 2 p.m. in The Atrium Lobby.
- Sat., Aug. 9: “Eternal Spring,” a slide program of ancient and present-day gardens of the Metropolitan Museum of Art and The Cloisters, will be presented by The Stella Dukes Memorial Fund for the Arts. Beginning at 2 p.m., celebrate nature with cinema by Dr. Michael B. Norris, former educator of The Metropolitan Museum of Art and The Cloisters. The Stella Dukes Memorial Fund for the Arts was established in honor of Stella Dukes, a former Atrium resident. The fund supports a full calendar of enriching theater, dance and musical performances at The Allendale Community for Senior Living.
- Tues., Aug. 19: Explore The Allendale Community’s living options and on-site amenities, and meet key staff members during an open house “meet and greet” party from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. in The Atrium Lounge. Stop by to meet the faces of The Allendale Community and to tour the facility. This event will feature musical entertainment by Pete Visalli and light refreshments.
