Walters Adds 34 Affordable Apartments to Ocean County Housing Inventory 

Cornerstone at Grassy Hollow

MANAHAWKIN, N.J. (June 3, 2024) – Construction is on schedule for Cornerstone at Grassy Hollow II, a premium, income-restricted apartment community slated for completion in November, according to Barnegat-based developer Walters. The initial housing lottery for the new apartment community at 200 Back Road in Manahawkin closed this month, with robust interest reflecting sustained affordable housing demand within the local market.   

The development will offer 34 one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments in two buildings. The first building is expected to be completed by mid-September 2024, with the second to follow.

Cornerstone at Grassy Hollow II will feature a wealth of amenities such as a state-of-the-art fitness center, a children’s tot lot, a basketball court and a community clubhouse with computer workstations. Apartments are equipped with in-unit washers/dryers.
