Mid-Atlantic Real Estate Journal Features Walters’ Multifamily Development
MARLTON, N.J., March 28, 2022 — Cornerstone at Greentree, a 68-unit premium age- (55+) and income-restricted apartment community developed by Walters, has been honored as among the “Best Green Projects” of 2021 by Mid-Atlantic Real Estate Journal, a leading industry trade publication. Located at 16 Stow Road in Marlton, the new building was designed to achieve LEED® Gold and ENERGY STAR® certifications.
“We are proud to be recognized for our commitment to building environmentally sensitive and energy efficient developments that benefit the communities where they’re located,” said Joseph Del Duca, partner and director of affordable housing for Walters. “Residents also benefit from living in a healthy home with many onsite amenities and local resources.”
Located on 2.32 acres in Burlington County, the four-story building consists of one- and two-bedroom residences leased exclusively to residents whose incomes are at or below 60 percent of the area median income. The apartments feature open floor plans, upgraded interior finishes and signature detailing that has won Walters numerous awards over the years.
A staff social services coordinator is available upon request to create specialized programming. Residents can access a free shuttle bus for trips to local food stores and other planned resident events.
