Modern Classic Apartments, Convenient Location Draws Renters to Multi-Family Adaptive Reuse Project

BLOOMFIELD, N.J., Feb. 21, 2014 – Parkway Lofts in Bloomfield, N.J. was not even under construction when it first captured the attention of Joe Foglia, who noticed the commanding brick structure each day while commuting to work along the Garden State Parkway. Originally built in 1915 by The General Electric Co., Parkway Lofts' modern classic apartments include a mix of studio, one- and two-bedroom loft-style and duplex residences. Monthly rents start from the $1,500s. Foglia and his girlfriend, Larisse Ribeiro, chose a one-bedroom home, ideally suited for both everyday living and entertaining. The pet-friendly building also accommodates the couple's dog.

"From afar the building was amazing, but in person it was even better than I could have imagined. The expansive windows and skyline views, the high ceilings, and the luxury finishes and amenities in our home are incredible. The layout is perfect, and the maintenance-free lifestyle is exactly what we wanted. It's great to know that when our space needs change in the future, we can remain at Parkway Lofts but simply move to a larger home."

Foglia, owner of Watch Guard Security, appreciates Parkway Lofts' accessibility, easing the daily commute to his Brooklyn office. The community is located near the Garden State Parkway and other major highways, while NJ Transit's Watsessing Avenue Station is just 1,000 feet away.
