NAIOP NJ Panelists Shared Economic Incentives, Financing Options
EDISON, N.J. (Dec. 20, 2022) – NAIOP New Jersey’s “Adaptive Reuse: Tackling the Challenges” program held earlier this month brought together commercial real estate experts and public officials to focus on the benefits and challenges of adaptive reuse in New Jersey. The event was held at Northeast Carpenters Apprentice Training Center, 75 Fieldcrest Ave. in Edison, N.J. The panelists pictured are (L-R) Tricia Wood, consultant for Blue Onyx, Tri-Source, LLC; Christopher D. Ernst, principal, Perkins Eastman; Michael J. Wachter, executive vice president, The Rock Brook Consulting Group PA; and Christopher M. Cornick, vice president, New Jersey Business Unit Leader, Gilbane Building Company.
“Our panelists offered experienced insights into the opportunities and challenges encountered when repurposing existing buildings for different uses,” said Michael McGuinness, NAIOP New Jersey chief executive officer. “Numerous factors affect the process, and those attending the program were presented with resources, programs, and strategies that are of key importance when undertaking adaptive reuse projects in the state.”
