Cushman & Wakefield Completes 8,561-Square-Foot Office Lease at Glenpointe
Hanwha International will Relocate its Domestic Headquarters with the Transaction
TEANECK, N.J., June 11, 2014 – In a transaction marking a change of venue for Hanwha International, the South Korea-based conglomerate has signed a lease for 8,561 square feet of office space at Glenpointe Centre at 300 Frank W. Burr Boulevard in Teaneck. Glenpointe owner Alfred Sanzari Enterprises was represented in the transaction by the East Rutherford, N.J.-based Cushman & Wakefield team of Richard Baumstein, Marc Graham and Christian Politan, exclusive leasing agents for the 650,000-square-foot class A office complex. Hanwha International was represented by Stephen Lee of C Land Realty.
“Hanwha looked at a number of locations in the area, and cited Glenpointe’s convenience, access, amenities and location for client meetings for their decision,” said Graham. “There continues to be strong interest from international companies in Glenpointe, which clearly speaks to its strength as a business destination.”
Hanwha International is a diversified manufacturing and trading company, with products ranging from aircraft systems for the aerospace industry, to defense-related products and systems, industrial explosives, solar products and more. With the signing, the company will be relocating its U.S. domestic headquarters from Cranbury, N.J.
Glenpointe, with its combination of 650,000 square feet of top-flight class A office space and on-site amenities, is a regional hub and home to a broad range of local, national and international companies. The 50-acre complex encompasses Glenpointe Centre West, Glenpointe Centre East and The Atrium at Glenpointe office buildings; the 345-room Marriott at Glenpointe; and the state-of-the-art, 26,000-square-foot Glenpointe Spa & Fitness.
