25-Year Industry Veteran will manage Operational Functions for Firm’s three Garden State Offices
EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J., Jan. 16, 2014 – Cushman & Wakefield has promoted Andrew Judd to senior operations manager for New Jersey, announced Kimberly Brennan, the commercial real estate services firm’s New Jersey market leader. In his new role, Judd will manage the operational functions of the firm’s three Garden State offices in East Rutherford, Morristown and Edison.
Judd had been a director in the firm’s Marketing & Communications Group. With the promotion, he will move to the operational side in New Jersey and take on responsibility for day-to-day activities throughout the 150-person region.
“Andrew has been a key member of our New Jersey operations for 10 years and an integral part of the New Jersey management structure for the past five years,” said Brennan. “We have worked together for nearly 20 years at Cushman & Wakefield and other firms and, knowing him as I do, this is a natural progression in his career. His industry expertise and proven leadership abilities will be extremely valuable in his new role within the firm.”
In his new position, Judd will work to maximize overall service delivery to clients while advancing regional objectives and initiatives, including increased market share and profitability. His past marketing experience has included active participation in new business development efforts and support to major agency leasing, tenant representation and corporate services assignments. Over the past 10 years, he has been instrumental in helping secure more than 80 million square feet of assignments from some of the firm’s largest clients.
“I sincerely appreciate the confidence that has been placed in me,” said Judd. “I look forward to meeting the challenges that lie ahead as our firm continues to grow in this highly competitive marketplace.”
Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield in 2004, Judd served as managing director of marketing services for the New York office of CB Richard Ellis (formerly Insignia/ESG). A resident of Scotch Plains, N.J., he holds an MBA degree in Executive Management and a BA in Communications from Fordham University. A licensed salesperson in New Jersey, he has also completed real estate coursework at NYU’s School of Continuing and Professional Studies.
