EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J., Jan. 9, 2015 – Cushman & Wakefield in East Rutherford has promoted Jules J. Nissim of West Orange, New Jersey, to the position of executive vice president, marking his second advancement this year. An industrial transaction and landlord representation specialist, Nissim joined the commercial real estate services firm in 1990.
Nissim focuses on corporate assignments in New Jersey and throughout the United States as part of Cushman & Wakefield's Global Supply Chain Solutions Group. He currently represents AEP, Harland Clarke Company, Tyler Distribution and Vertafore on a national basis, and Crate&Barrel's industrial requirements on a global basis. Nissim also serves as marketing agent for Cornerstone Real Estate Investors, Principal Real Estate Investors, Prologis, The Rockefeller Group, TA Associates Realty and Staten Island Marine Development on agencies in excess of 5 million square feet.
Earlier in 2014, Nissim achieved the title of executive director. He also was ranked among the Cushman & Wakefield's Top 10 industrial producers nationwide. During his tenure with the company, he has completed more than $1 billion in transaction volume involving in excess of 200 million square feet of space.
"Jules' accomplishments speak for themselves," noted Cushman & Wakefield's Kim Brennan, New Jersey market leader. "However, beyond his involvement some of the state's and country's most significant industrial transactions and projects, he has set benchmarks for professionalism and integrity, market knowledge, and impeccable client service here for nearly 25 years."
Nissim credits the Cushman & Wakefield culture and the depth of its platform for his long tenure with the firm. "I have been fortunate to work with incredible partners for more than two decades," he noted. "Importantly, there is a strong sense of collaboration among Cushman & Wakefield's industrial brokers – a true distinction in this highly competitive industry. Simply put, the people here are great. And the company's resources and relationships are unparalleled. This has enabled me to continually grow my career and succeed in a field that I truly love."
Nissim sits on Cushman & Wakefield's Occupier Council and holds memberships in NAIOP and the Material Handling Society. Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield, Nissim held sales and management positions with Handy & Harman, a precious metals firm headquartered in New York City.
