Leadership Role Supports N.J.-Area Brokers' Business Development Activities

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J., April 18, 2014 – Evyan O'Keefe of Manhattan has joined Cushman & Wakefield in East Rutherford as marketing associate, announced Kimberly Brennan, New Jersey market leader. In her leadership role, O'Keefe is supporting the commercial real estate services firm's New Jersey-based and regional brokerage professionals in their business development activities by helping to identify value propositions, and creating content and directing the production of compelling, client-centric marketing materials.

"The market rebound has created a wealth of new business for our New Jersey team," Brennan said. "Evyan is no stranger to the fast pace of a busy brokerage operation, and her skills set – which spans business development, advertising, corporate communications and public relations – is a perfect fit as we work to capitalize on the current surge in market activity and opportunity."

Previously, O'Keefe worked in Cushman & Wakefield's Atlanta office, where she supported the business development, client relationship and administrative needs of a seven-person brokerage team. Before that, she served for five years as the client communications and marketing coordinator for Henry Spiegel Milling LLP, an Atlanta-based law firm. Earlier in her career, she worked as an account executive for the New York City-based Evins Communications, Ltd.

"Evyan's creativity and enthusiasm are welcome additions to our outstanding regional marketing team," said Molly Brannon, managing director of Marketing & Communications for the NY/Northeast Region. "We welcome her to her new position and home base."

O'Keefe holds a bachelor's degree in public Relations from Auburn University, and served as a member of the Gamma Phi Beta Atlanta Alumnae Group. Her community involvement includes memberships in Habitat for Humanity and the Junior League of Atlanta. She recently chaired the Junior League's 16th Annual Tour of Kitchens, the organization's largest event fundraiser.
