Fairlane Village Mall Announces August/September Events
Consignment Sale, Job Fair Highlight Upcoming Happenings
POTTSVILLE, Pa., July 25, 2018 – There’s something for everyone to enjoy at Fairlane Village Mall during the months of August and September. Events are free and open to the public as follows unless otherwise noted:
- Aug. 10-12: Kid’s Closet Connection will be holding a consignment sale in the storefront next to Super Shoes. The sale is open to the public on Sat., Aug. 11 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and on Sun., Aug. 12 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. On Sunday, most items will be 50 percent off. Presales take place on Fri., Aug. 10 for volunteers (4 to 8 p.m.), consignors (4:30 to 8 p.m.), presale pass winners (5:30 to 8 p.m.), foster parents and expectant mothers (6 to 8 p.m.), and CareNet Diaper Drive (6:30 to 8 p.m.). - Sept. 1: An American Red Cross Blood Drive will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. To schedule an appointment, call (800) RED-CROSS.
- Sept. 3: Happy Labor Day! The mall will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Department store hours may vary. Please see specific stores for details.
- Sept. 19: Learn more about local job opportunities during the Pennsylvania CareerLink Job & Career Fair. The event takes place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
