POTTSVILLE, Pa., May 27, 2014 – There's always something new and exciting in store at Fairlane Village Mall. June's schedule of family-friendly activities has something for everyone. All events are free and open to the public as follows:
- Mon., June 2 to Sun., June 15: Make dad's day extra special! Shoppers who spend $50 at any combination of Fairlane Village Mall stores on the same day during this time period will receive two free tickets to a Reading Fightin Phils minor league baseball game. Receipts must be presented in the mall office to receive the free gift. One gift per person; shoppers must be 18 years of age or older to participate.
- Sat., June 28: Everyone's favorite monkey, Curious George, and WVIA-TV will be at the mall from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Sat., June 28: Bibliophiles of all ages are invited to visit a temporary used book store, located in the old Waldenbooks retail space, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Proceeds will benefit the Pottsville Free Public Library's teen/children's programs, and Coal Cracker, a print and online youth-led media outlet.
