Event Date: February 18, 2014
NEW BRUNSWICK, N.J., Feb. 7, 2014 – Commercial real estate has been slow to adopt innovative technology, some say, but that is changing. Those changes will provide the focus for Technology Trends: Working Smarter in Commercial Real Estate, a seminar slated by NAIOP New Jersey for Tuesday, Feb. 18, at the New Jersey Law Center in New Brunswick. Building owners, property managers, IT and other commercial real estate professionals will be impressed with the new technology that puts almost every aspect of their job at their fingertips. Attendees will receive tips for mobile use and new trends in showing space and multitasking.
Information is the most valuable currency of the digital age – collecting, managing, deploying and protecting information is the foundation for success in business today. Andrew Houston, vice president and principal with Cassidy Turley, will moderate this timely discussion.
Steven E. Messaros, chief information officer of Liberty Property Trust, will discuss Changing Technologies Impacting Industrial Users, including robotics, 3-D printing and more, and how they are being utilized to meet the needs of manufacturers, distributors and retail operations. Nick Romito, CEO of View the Space Inc., will discuss Accelerating Deals and Data – reaching brokers, finding tenants and making deals and data move faster. Mark Catania, senior account executive of Co-Star Direct will speak about Analytics for Investment Management, exploring the latest technology for leasing applications, floor plans and real estate investment management software. Chris Mangano, VP of Mercadien Technologies, will focus on Cloud-based Computer Services, including virtualization, Cloud-hosted IT solutions and pre-packaged smart suites for tenants. And Jonathan Schultz of Onyx Equities will discuss Integrating Applications in a SASS Environment for rapidly growing your business.
