Innovative Program Sets a New Standard in Person-Centric Care
PHILADELPHIA (June 24, 2026) — Fountain View at Logan Square, a luxury continuing care retirement community in Philadelphia, has introduced Journeys Memory Care – a person centered, comprehensive memory care neighborhood set within Fountain View’s Logan Square Enhanced Senior Living. Fountain View recently hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the grand opening, with local dignitaries, business partners, community members, staff and residents, and even a Benjamin Franklin impersonator in attendance.
The Journeys Memory Care model is available to clients of Marquis Health Consulting Services, which supports Fountain View at Logan Square. Designed by memory care experts, Journeys features a standardized approach to care delivery, practice and management. The program meets the new care model’s rigorous set of standards and criteria, which include benchmarks for the physical plant, evidence-based care delivery, caregiver experience and education, stage-specific life enrichment programming and dining, among others.
“We are so honored to celebrate this new and exciting chapter at Fountain View’s campus,” said Jules Dewey, vice president of senior living sales for Marquis. “The Journeys program represents Fountain View’s commitment to providing the highest quality care for their residents. This beautiful neighborhood is going to support and enrich the lives of so many older adults with dementia in the community.”
Modern and bright, the Journeys-designated memory care neighborhood at Fountain View supports residents’ physical, emotional, cognitive and social needs, enabling them to maintain the highest level of function and independence in a safe and secure environment. Dedicated teams are trained and educated to communicate through validation, showing understanding, compassion and support as they join residents through the journey of each day.
“We are thrilled to introduce the Journeys Memory Care program as part of our ongoing commitment to providing compassionate, person-centered care, and there is truly nothing like this in Philadelphia,” said Adrianne Stevens, executive director of Fountain View at Logan Square. “This innovative approach will offer residents enhanced support, meaningful daily engagement and individualized programming while providing families with greater peace of mind.”
Specialized Training Across All Departments
Enhanced training for all Journeys staff members at Fountain View at Logan Square – from housekeeping and maintenance to culinary staff, and others who interact in any way with residents – includes a 12-part Dementia Basics Education series, which meets or exceeds state and federal regulations. The training incorporates experiential virtual dementia training to further educate team members on how to best provide care to those living with the disease.
