Professionally Merchandised Homes Showcase a Multitude of Living Possibilities
BLOOMFIELD, N.J., Jan. 27, 2014 – Prism Capital Partners LLC has unveiled four fully furnished and professionally decorated models at Parkway Lofts, providing prospective renters with a true sense of the lifestyle available at this luxurious multi-family adaptive reuse project in Bloomfield, N.J. The community's on-site leasing center also is now open.
Originally built in 1915 by The General Electric Co., Prism redeveloped the landmark six-story warehouse building into eight stories of 365 beautifully appointed luxury apartments. "This community has tremendous visual presence and personifies luxury loft living at its finest," she said. "Each of the four available home styles is completely unique in terms of design and layout. These decorated models will help renters visualize their living and entertaining space, and provides some great ideas for efficiently utilizing each home's floor plan."
Apartments at Parkway Lofts feature 17- and 12-foot ceilings soaring above exposed columns and beams; breathtaking views of the Manhattan skyline and Watchung Mountains from 13-foot insulated windows; designer kitchens with stone countertops, wood cabinetry, mosaic backsplashes and concrete floors; and lavish bathrooms with sumptuous appointments and custom-tile flooring.
Parkway Lofts' residents also will enjoy a sophisticated set of lifestyle-enhancing amenities, creating an atmosphere centered on fitness, relaxation and socializing. In decorating the community's gracious common areas, Nunez sought to create sleek, modern spaces that are an extension of the homes themselves.
The private party/billiards room, for example, exudes a classic elegance with a 14-foot bar and televisions surrounded by tufted banquettes and dark woods. To bring the iconic building's past into the present, Nunez incorporated recycled lumber from the original structure into the bar area. "I wanted the space to be classic and timeless, yet young and fresh. It's got a very 1950s club vibe. The atmosphere is best described as a city version of the Beverly Hills Hotel's famed Polo Lounge."
The 20-seat large-screen theater room was designed to create a comfortable movie-going experience. "This is not your traditional media room. There are three plush sofas and plenty of swivel armchairs in the space. Residents will feel as if they are sitting in their own living room watching a movie with friends," Nunez added. Patterned after the luxurious Thompson Hotel in Toronto, the building's roof-top deck also is marked by large sofas and plenty of comfortable seating areas.
Rounding out Parkway Lofts' exciting suite of amenities is a 24/7 attended lobby, a two-level state-of-the-art fitness center, a fireplace, water feature, and a dog run. In addition to a washer/dryer in each apartment unit, residents will have access to larger commercial-style laundry facilities and storage lockers on each floor. A secure parking garage and additional in-building and surface parking ensure ample vehicle accommodations. A commuter's dream, NJ Transit's Watsessing Avenue Station is just 1,000 feet away, affording a 25-minute commute to midtown Manhattan.
