Community Leaders Joined Effort to Raise Hunger Awareness

HILLSDALE, N.J., Sept. 27, 2016 – In its continuing effort to give back to the community and raise awareness of food insecurity, Inserra Supermarkets hosted “Help Bag Hunger” events in each of its 22 stores, including ShopRite of Hillsdale. During the fundraiser, community leaders volunteered to bag groceries for customers as ShopRite of Hillsdale associates collected monetary donations. All proceeds are earmarked to aid in filling the shelves of food banks and charities.
