Totowa, N.J., Tech Firm’s Cloud-Based Solutions for Commercial Real Estate Draw Seasoned Professional
TOTOWA, N.J., July 29, 2019 – Integrated Business Systems (IBS) continues to expand its sales team with the addition of Lesley Slepian. The Totowa-based commercial real estate technology firm specializes in construction management/accounting and property management/accounting software and support, and provides managed IT services for clients across a range of industries.
A Manhattan resident, Slepian is a seasoned sales and client management professional with more than 25 years of experience in the accounting and technology industries. This includes a deep background in enterprise resource planning (ERP) solutions. In her new role, she is focused on building IBS’s customer base and ultimately helping end users leverage the firm’s products effectively.
As a strategic partner with leading ERP solutions provider Acumatica, IBS is a value-added reseller of Acumatica Construction Edition – an end-to-end cloud-based system for project management, accounting, contracts, job costs, commitments, subcontracts, compliance and retainage. Additionally, IBS’s proprietary Imperium Powered by Acumatica is a fully cloud-based property management/accounting system for commercial and multifamily real estate owners, operators and associations.
“I love the fact that IBS focuses on cloud-based software,” Slepian said. “The associated benefits – including the abilities to configure to client-specific needs and integrate with other best-in-class products – provide such strong advantage for clients and opportunity for us as a provider. That was a huge draw for me. Additionally, IBS is a boutique firm, which means that my involvement with customers will extend beyond closing a sale. I look forward to staying involved and helping them understand where our technology can take them next.”
For IBS, Slepian’s distinctive background makes her a valued addition to the team. “Most people in Lesley’s position would have some level of technology sales background, but she also brings experience in public and private-practice accounting,” noted IBS President Michael Mullin. “That sets her apart as someone who can truly understand and address the core needs of prospective clients.”
IBS was established in 1979 with the goal to provide truly turnkey IT solutions. The firm consistently has remained a recognized regional leader in its niche. Today, IBS products and services reflect several generations of technology and experience. In addition to its commercial real estate industry-specific solutions, IBS services a diverse client base of small and mid-size companies through IBS Managed IT Services. This division helps businesses successfully keep their IT infrastructure current. IBS provides full consulting, installation and support for computer networking, business continuity and cybersecurity technologies.
