Leading Experts Will Explore Dynamic Asset Classes Shaping New Jersey’s CRE Industry
SHORT HILLS, N.J. (Jan. 14, 2025) – The first commercial real estate event of 2025 will provide an intriguing focus on CRE’s most transformative asset classes and valuable insights for the year ahead. NAIOP New Jersey’s “Annual Meeting and Commercial Real Estate Outlook,” which will be held on Thursday, January 23, will also include the election of the commercial real estate development association’s 2025 officers and trustees.
A panel of industry experts from office, industrial, multifamily, and niche markets, such as film production, cannabis, and cold storage, will share the latest trends, investment opportunities, and challenges in these evolving asset classes. Topics will include:
- Trends driving change in each asset class and their impact on the CRE landscape
- Unique obstacles facing each sector and strategic approaches to addressing them
- Identifying high-growth, high-potential areas across these diverse asset classes
- Practical strategies for portfolio enhancement and navigating market changes effectively
Confirmed panelists include Moshe Gross, CEO at Reset Locations/Film Location Broker; Jonathan Moore, co-chief investment officer, Woodmont Properties; Andrew Natale, COO, SJP Properties; and Brad Vander Vliet, vice president, industrial, Crow Holdings Development. Following the panel, Spencer Levy, global client strategist and senior economic advisor for CBRE, will address the current economic climate in a keynote presentation.
“In New Jersey’s evolving commercial real estate market, exploring alternative asset classes is essential,” said Gross. “With office vacancies rising, repurposing underutilized properties for uses like filming locations offers a practical solution to generate revenue and adapt to current market trends. The film industry may seem unfamiliar to CRE professionals, but with the right guidance, the process can be smooth, rewarding, and bring great value.”
The January 23 event will take place at the Hilton Short Hills, 41 John F. Kennedy Parkway in Short Hills. Networking and cocktails begin at 5 p.m., followed by dinner and the program.
