WHAT: Will celebrate the grand opening of a new state-of-the-art urgent care center
WHEN: On Thursday, July 27, from 3 to 5 p.m.
WHERE: At 90 South Livingston Ave. in Livingston
WHY: The event will include a formal ribbon cutting ceremony and open house reception with tours, refreshments, live musical entertainment, and a meet-and-greet with AFC’s staff and medical team.
AFC Livingston Owner Albert Saad and Medical Director Dr. Avery Browne are available prior to, during and after the event for interviews on a number of industry-related topics including, among others:
- The rapid growth of the AFC franchise nationwide and in northern New Jersey, where Saad and Browne now lead six urgent care centers.
- Trends related to the urgent care model and the significant role these facilities play in the healthcare continuum.
- Factors driving consumer demand for convenient, affordable walk-in care.
- Opportunities and challenges of expanding a business in the current economic climate.

AFC Livingston will be open seven days per week with no appointment necessary. The center will provide prompt, accessible, high-quality medical care for illnesses and injuries that are not life threatening. The state-of-the-art center includes on-site digital x-rays and laboratory capabilities. AFC Livingston will begin seeing patients on Monday, July 31. Most major insurance plans are accepted.
