Kick off Summer with a Family-Friendly Day of Exercise, Education and Entertainment

HAMILTON, N.J. (June 12, 2024) — The first official day of summer certainly calls for fun! Join Avalon Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center for Samba Fitness and Wellness Day on Thursday, June 20, from 1 to 3 p.m. Free and open to the public, the family-friendly event will be held at the skilled nursing center, located at 1059 Edinburgh Road in Hamilton.

Festivities include interactive activities for all ages, educational opportunities, live entertainment, and booths featuring area businesses, gyms and vendors, as well as refreshments and healthy smoothies, too. Don’t miss one of the 30-minute Samba Fitness sessions, which start at 1:15 and 2:15 p.m. A dance-inspired program, Samba Fitness promotes exercise and movement for older adults – and it’s fun!
