Choice Pet Supply, H&R Block to Occupy a Combined 3,300 Square Feet
COMMACK, N.Y., Jan. 10, 2014 – North Plainfield, N.J.-based Levin Management has announced two long-term lease agreements totaling 3,300 square feet at Mayfair Shopping Center in Commack, N.Y. The new tenants include pet products retailer Choice Pet Supply (2,500 square feet) and tax services provider H&R Block (800 square feet).
Levin's leasing representative Jake Frantzman negotiated the transactions. David Lucas of Julius M. Feinblum Real Estate Inc. represented Choice Pet Supply; Robert Reinhardt of Reinhardt, Becker, Ford & Associates LLC represented H&R Block.
"Mayfair Shopping Center's mix of national retailers, service providers and restaurants supports an excellent lineup of regional and local tenants, making it one of Long Island's most dominant shopping destinations," said Frantzman. "Choice Pet Supply and H&R Block represent two new retail categories that will greatly enhance the diversity of the center's existing tenant base."
Well located directly on the heavily traveled Jericho Turnpike just west of the Sunken Meadow Parkway, Mayfair Shopping Center serves a growing residential population of more than 204,500 people within a five-mile radius. The marketplace offers an average household income of more than $117,900 and the daily traffic count exceeds 27,000 vehicles.
Anchored by a 60,000-square-foot Waldbaum's supermarket, Mayfair Shopping Center's impressive lineup of national and regional tenants includes Gap/Gap Kids, Ann Taylor Loft, New York & Company, Justice, Jos. A. Bank, Stride Rite, Red Mango, Chico's, Claire's, GameStop, Verizon Wireless, Rite Aid, Sherwin Williams, Cactus Beauty Salon, Capital One Bank and Outback Steakhouse.
Current leasing opportunities include a 12,000-square-foot space that can be sub-divided.
