Appointments Recognize Outstanding Performance and Contributions
NORTH PLAINFIELD, N.J., Jan. 4, 2022 – Commercial real estate services firm Levin Management Corporation (LMC) has announced three staff promotions amid continued business momentum. In the leasing department, E.J. Moawad has been named senior leasing representative, while Stacy Garrity and Antoinette Puccia have been elevated to senior paralegal; Garrity has also assumed the role of corporate secretary for the North Plainfield-based company.
Moawad, of Palisades Park, N.J., joined LMC in 2016 and is responsible for approximately 1.7 million square feet of gross leasable area at 13 properties within LMC’s management and leasing portfolio. His 2021 transactional highlights included leases with Ulta Beauty (St. Georges Crossing, Woodbridge, N.J.) and German grocer Lidl (Mayfair Shopping Center, Commack, N.Y.), both of which were cited by CoStar as second-quarter “Top Retail Leasing” deals. Moawad in recent months also has arranged leases with a range of national, regional and local tenants, including well-known brands like Planet Fitness, Jersey Mike’s subs, CityMD Urgent Care and Popeye’s Louisiana Kitchen, among many others.
“E.J.’s professionalism, work ethic and impeccable client service make him a true asset to our company and the clients we represent,” said Matthew K. Harding, LMC’s chief executive officer. “He has been a significant contributor to our leasing team’s impressive 2021 transactional volume – which has exceeded 1 million square feet of new leases, renewals/extensions and license agreements.”
Key members of the LMC corporate team, Garrity, a resident of Colonia, N.J., and Puccia, of Green Brook, N.J., both joined LMC in 2010 and are notary publics in New Jersey. LMC’s paralegals are vital in researching, reviewing and upholding quality control measures for commercial real estate leases as well as other complex forms and records. As corporate secretary, Garrity is also directly responsible for LMC matters related to regulatory and statutory compliance.
“Our team at Levin is comprised of a diverse and talented group of experts across many disciplines,” Harding said. “We strongly believe in recognizing and rewarding outstanding performance and always take great pride in promoting from within. Stacy and Antoinette are accomplished, highly detail-oriented team players and great examples of the dedicated, high-caliber professionals who are moving our company forward.”
For nearly seven decades, LMC has served as a trusted single-source commercial real estate services provider for institutional and private owners. The company today maintains a 120-property, 16 million-square-foot leasing and management portfolio – including a notable proportion of grocery-anchored shopping centers and other retail properties, as well as industrial and office assets.
LMC helps its clients operate properties and create case-specific solutions to protect and improve value; it has distinguished itself as a firm large enough to excel in assignments of any scale while continuing to employ a hands-on, proprietary approach in every facet of its business. The firm offers leasing, property management, financial management and reporting, construction management and development, lease administration, marketing services, and acquisition and disposition consulting services. LMC’s capabilities continue to evolve with new technologies, efficiencies and sustainability-focused initiatives to serve a new generation of properties, investors and tenants.
