Lots Feature Vintage Baseball and Football Pennants, High-Grade Cards, More

KINGSTON, N.Y. (July 8, 2024) Love of the Game Auctions’ (LOTG’s) Summer 2024 Set Builder Auction is now underway, running until Saturday, July 13. This is the second consecutive year that the internet-based auction house is hosting this type of auction, focusing on and highlighting more affordable items.

“We are excited to present our Set Builder Auction,” said Al Crisafulli, LOTG founder and auction director. “This auction is perfect for collectors working on completing vintage sets, with a wide array of unique material available.”

The main items in this auction include large groupings of high-grade 1961, 1963, 1971, and 1975 Topps baseball cards, with most graded NM-MT 8 or better from PSA. A number of both graded and ungraded 1909-11 T206 cards are also being sold, as well as an assortment of original photography. In addition, LOTG is also breaking up a collection of vintage baseball and football felt pennants. Other notable auction highlights include a selection of autographed cards, a large assortment of vintage baseball and football equipment, as well as a number of PSA-graded World Series ticket stubs.

LOTG’s 2024 summer Premier catalog auction is coming in September. More information on the Set Builder Auction and future auctions can be found on the company’s website, loveofthegameauctions.com
