New Jersey’s Premier Coworking Space Continues Free Monthly Exhibitions Showcasing Local Artists
HOBOKEN, N.J. (Mar. 6, 2023) – Mission 50, New Jersey’s premier coworking space, continues its winter Art Show Series with a solo exhibition featuring Hoboken-based artist Chesleigh Meade. Free and open to the public, the show and reception will be held on Friday, March 10, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Mission 50, 50 Harrison Street in Hoboken.
Guests can view the artwork throughout the hallways of Mission 50, and enjoy light snacks and refreshments in The Saloon on Mission 50’s second floor. Free on-site parking is available during the event, and all attendees will receive a free day pass for coworking at Mission 50. RSVPs are required via Eventbrite.
Informed by her experience as a mother of three, Chesleigh’s practice as a mixed media artist privileges both the personal and the anonymous in its fusion of hand drawings, watercolor, collage, paint, disposable goods, and discarded packaging. The corrugations and latticework present in her cut-paper human forms evoke the urban landscape while unmistakably centering the lives which inhabit and sustain that landscape. The exhibition will showcase her recent works.

Mission 50 was launched in 2011 as one of the first premium coworking sites in the New York/New Jersey region. Ten years later, Gregory Dell’Aquila, CEO of JDA Group LLC, which owns the 80,000-square-foot boutique office property, spearheaded a multi-million-dollar renovation and reintroduction in response to evolving workplace needs.
