March 15: Rep. Frank Pallone to Keynote NAIOP NJ’s Public Policy Symposium
Senate President Sweeney, Assembly Speaker Coughlin, Top Policy Makers will Join CRE Leaders to Discuss Critical Economic, Infrastructure Issues

NEW BRUNSWICK, N.J., Feb. 27, 2019 – Congressman Frank Pallone (D-6), Ranking Member on the House Energy and Commerce Committee, will deliver keynote remarks at NAIOP New Jersey’s 2019 Public Policy Symposium on Friday, March 15, 2019. The commercial real estate development association’s annual event will be held at The Heldrich in New Brunswick from 7:45 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Anthony Coscia, Chairman of the Board of Amtrak, will discuss critical transportation initiatives, including the Gateway Project.

The program brings together government policy makers and industry leaders for interactive conversations about the state’s critical economic and infrastructure issues, as well as how New Jersey can be more competitive, prosperous and affordable for businesses and residents. “Paths to Progress – A Conversation with the Legislative Leadership” will feature Senate President Steve Sweeney (D-3), Assembly Speaker Craig Coughlin (D-19), NAIOP NJ President Gene Preston of Dermody Properties and Trustee Eugene Diaz of Prism Capital Partners.

A panel discussion, “Connecting the DOTs…and DEPs & BPUs & NJTs…to Build a World-Class Infrastructure,” will focus on the next steps needed to build and modernize New Jersey’s transportation, water, energy and digital systems. Confirmed speakers include Commissioner of the Board of Public Utilities and former Senator Bob Gordon; Janice Brogle, Director of Water Quality for the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection; and New Jersey Infrastructure Bank Executive Director David Zimmer.

Registration and a networking breakfast begin at 7:45 a.m., followed by the program at 8:30 a.m. This event will offer one continuing education credit (pending approval) for New Jersey brokers, attorneys and architects.
