BRICK, N.J. (April 27, 2026) — Brick-based Marquis Health Consulting Services has been named among America’s Greatest Midsize Workplaces for Culture, Belonging & Community 2026. The Newsweek ranking recognizes companies that have made an inclusive workplace environment the foundation of their organizational success. The skilled nursing and senior living administrative consulting services provider is one of just seven New Jersey companies on this year’s list and, within that set, the stand-alone in the “hospitals and healthcare” category.

Marquis supports clients in eight states along the Eastern Seaboard. “Our focus on culture is intentional and woven into everything we do; for us, it starts with a mindset that organizational success grows out of how you make employees feel,” said Hilly Hill, Marquis’ chief brand officer. “We have created an environment that supports a philosophy that every team member should feel recognized, encouraged and acknowledged. It’s incredibly gratifying to be acknowledged for this approach and its impact on employee satisfaction here at Marquis.”

The comprehensive ranking by Newsweek, in collaboration with Plant-A Insights Group, involved analysis of over 2.6 million online employee reviews, along with publicly available data for approximately 4,700 companies employing between 500 and 1,000 individuals. Plant-A partnered with leading HR analytics company Aniline to leverage their extensive database of over 120 key performance indicators across six key categories: working environment, culture and belonging, compensation and benefits, work-life balance, career progression and training, and company culture.

“At Marquis, we live our core values – pursuit of excellence, respect for all, and driven by passion,” said Marquis’ Barry Munk, chief executive officer. “That collective sense of purpose is the heart of our success. In turn, we see this translate to the teams at the skilled nursing centers and senior living communities we support and, ultimately, the patients and residents they care for and serve. It’s quality of life across the board.”

According to Hill, the Marquis-inspired commitment to culture and employee experience at the center and community level is vitally important. “Professionals who choose a career in skilled nursing and senior care are truly some of the hardest-working employees in the nation,” said Hill. “It’s not about a job for them – it’s about a life’s work. We view it as our social responsibility to inspire our clients to prioritize an environment where employees feel valued.”

Newsweek Editor-In-Chief Jennifer H. Cunningham said, “The modern workplace has evolved beyond just a place to earn a paycheck. Today’s employees seek environments where they feel valued, heard and connected – workplaces that prioritize culture, foster genuine belonging and build strong communities. Companies that embrace these principles don’t just attract top talent; they create spaces where people from all walks of life can collaborate, innovate and thrive. We hope this ranking helps job seekers and professionals identify workplaces that combine personal connection with professional growth.”

Additional metrics for America’s Greatest Midsize Workplaces for Culture, Belonging & Community 2026 ranking included management diversity ratios and published ESG and EEO-1 reports. Marquis was also named to Newsweek’s America’s Greatest Midsize Workplaces in Health Care 2026.

Marquis’ “Care, anew” philosophy supports clients dedicated to transforming lives. Marquis-serviced skilled nursing centers have access to an evolving suite of clinician-led specialty care models, signature services and comfort features – enabling innovation, compassion and purpose in every aspect of care. Its senior living community clients have the advantage of tools, technologies and experience models designed to provide an engaging lifestyle that inspires residents to embrace each day with purpose and live life to its fullest.
