Lumberton, N.J., SNF Continues to Expand Specialty Care Initiatives to Meet Area Demand

LUMBERTON, N.J. (June 25, 2024)Mount Holly Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center in Lumberton has been recognized among Newsweek’s America’s Best Nursing Homes 2024” for its quality care and services. Located at 62 Richmond Avenue, the 180-bed center provides post-hospital care, short-term rehab and long-term residential care.

Mount Holly is supported by Marquis Health Consulting Services, a Brick, N.J.-based administrative and consulting services provider. “Recognition as one of the nation’s top nursing homes reflects the commitment of the Mount Holly team to provide superior experiences to all those in their care; this recognition is well deserved,” said Marquis’ Kate Bauer, regional director of market development.

In response to area demand, the Burlington County center continues to expand its specialty offerings in partnership with leading healthcare providers. One such example is its patient-centric Chronic Illness Support model, integrating palliative care, pastoral support and other services with its specialized clinical programming. The center recently appointed Dr. Soumya Bollampally as its medical director; Dr. Bollampally is affiliated with Virtua Health’s Post-Acute Services.

In addition to Mount Holly’s recent Newsweek nod, the center maintains a prestigious accreditation for quality care and services from The Joint Commission, the nation’s oldest and largest standards-setting and accrediting body in health care. “Mount Holly is regarded as a destination of choice in the region,” noted Bauer.

Newsweek, in partnership with global data research firm Statista Inc., created “America’s Best Nursing Homes 2024” to highlight the nation’s top 750 nursing homes out of 12,273 analyzed. Rankings are based on five data sources, including performance data, peer recommendations, management of the COVID-19 situation and accreditations; for the first time, resident satisfaction data was added to the scoring model.
