Concerts and Opera-Themed Fun Among Planned Happenings in May

ALLENDALE, N.J., April 25, 2014 – From operatic fun to delightful concert performances, musical events highlight May’s calendar of events at The Atrium Assisted Living at The Allendale Community for Senior Living. The following programs are free and open to the public:
- Thurs., May 15: “A Day at the Opera” is sure to bring the sights and sounds of this popular art form to life. Festivities include opera trivia and music, as well as the exciting operatic film Adia starring Luciano Pavarotti presented in The Atrium Cinema.
- Wed., May 21: The Stella Dukes Memorial Fund for the Arts will present a Memorial Day concert with The Ramsey Wind Symphony, a 50-piece orchestra, at 7 p.m. in The Atrium Lobby. The Stella Dukes Memorial Fund for the Arts was established to honor Stella Dukes, an Allendale Community resident who passed away last year. The fund supports a full calendar of enriching theater, dance and musical performances at The Allendale Community for Senior Living.
- Sat., May 31: A concert showcasing the talent of The Fine Tuners, a youth string orchestra from the Locola Music Studio in Oradell, N.J., will be held at 2 p.m. in The Atrium Lobby.
