Lifestyle changes, Workplace Requirements and Infrastructure Requirements top the Agenda
Event Date: September 30, 2013
EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J., Sept. 11, 2013 – Change is a key driver of economic activity, and change will be the focus of the September 30 chapter meeting of NAIOP New Jersey, the commercial real estate development association.

Indeed, New Jersey has been inundated with waves of change, from a rising tide of Millennials changing the rules for work and lifestyle expectations, to the receding waves of Superstorm Sandy that have revealed an imperative need to change how we plan, zone for and encourage land use, and modernize and maintain building stock and infrastructure systems that are well past their prime.

On September 30, attendees will hear from three dynamic CEOs – Jonathan Kushner of The KRE Group (discussion leader); Mayor Steven Fulop, Jersey City; Nick Chasinov of Teknicks and Don Katz of Audible – who are surfing the waves of change with fresh approaches to developing and re-imagining properties and growing businesses where people want to work. We will also hear what some of NAIOP New Jersey’s student members have to say about choosing (or not choosing) to study, live and work in New Jersey.

Slated for the Sheraton Meadowlands in East Rutherford, the event will begin with registration, cocktails and a buffet dinner at 5:30 p.m., followed by the program at 6:30 p.m. To register, or for more information, contact NAIOP New Jersey at (732) 729-9900, or visit http://www.naiopnj.org/
