NAIOP New Jersey Installs 2019 Officers and Trustees
Dermody Properties’ Eugene Preston Assumes Role as President

SHORT HILLS, N.J., Jan. 29, 2019 – NAIOP New Jersey has announced the election of its 2019 officers and trustees. The installation took place during the commercial real estate development association’s sold-out Annual Meeting and Commercial Real Estate Outlook, which was held at the Short Hills Hilton.

Eugene Preston of Dermody Properties assumed the role of chapter president from Elberon Development Group’s Dave Gibbons. Preston thanked Gibbons for his leadership over the past two years, and said, “It is a tremendous honor for me to serve as president of this great organization, of which I have been a proud member for over 30 years. I offer my congratulations to all the officers and board members who were elected this evening. To those returning, thank you for your continued service and welcome to the newly elected. I have no doubt that you will enjoy your new role with NAIOP, and I look forward to working with you.”

In addition to Preston, chapter officers for 2019 are: Vice President Public Affairs, Gus Milano, Hartz Mountain Industries; Vice President Special Events, Sam Morreale, Vision Real Estate Partners; Vice President Education, Matt Schlindwein, Greek Development; Vice President Membership and Communications, Mark Shearer, Rockefeller Group; Vice President Associate Affairs, Richard Burrow, Langan Engineering and Environmental Services; and Treasurer/Secretary, Stacey Weinberg Kierman, Federal Business Centers.

Newly elected first-time Trustees are: Monica Casiello of US Title Solutions; Blake Chroman of Sitex Group; Michael Cohen of Liberty Property Trust; Lt. Gov. Kim Guadagno of Connell Foley; Jesse Harty of Prologis; Jose Lozano of Choose New Jersey; Sam Ruda of the Port Authority of NY & NJ; and Dennis Waggner of Colliers International NY.
