Professional Development Seminars and Certification Courses Open to NJAA Members and Non-Members

MONROE TOWNSHIP, N.J., Feb. 10, 2014 – The New Jersey Apartment Association (NJAA) will host a series of educational programs in March designed to help industry professionals gain knowledge and elevate their skills. NJAA offers a diverse selection of comprehensive education and certification courses throughout the year for members and non-members as part of its commitment to advancing the multi-family housing industry in New Jersey.

The following programs are open to NJAA members and the public:

  • Tues., Mar. 18: Apartment Ratings & Reviews. Learn the secrets to achieving successful apartment reviews and how to maximize the benefits of the review process. Presented by Misty Stanford, Ellis Partners in Management Solutions. 9 a.m. – 12 p.m; 8:30 a.m. breakfast. Free for NJAA members; $75 for non-members.
  • Wed., Mar. 26 and Thurs., Mar. 27: Certificate for Apartment Maintenance Technician (CAMT): Basic Appliance I & II. Presented by Dave Shertzer, Multi-housing Depot by ARI. 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.; 8:30 a.m. breakfast, lunch included. Module fee: $100 for NJAA members; $150 for non-members. CAMT series fee: $775 for NJAA members; $1,000 for non-members. NAAEI’s CAMT program is accredited by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI).

NJAA members earn Continuing Education Credits (CECs) towards National Apartment Association Designations (NAA) at each session they attend. All programs will be held at NJAA, 104 Interchange Plaza, Suite 201, Monroe Township, N.J.
