Recognition Reflects Success of Edison Factory Complex Redevelopment
WEST ORANGE, N.J., Feb. 27, 2020 – The New Jersey Builders Association (NJBA) has named Katherine Likaont and Hannah Yoo as finalists in its 33rd Annual Sales & Marketing Awards program – recognizing their work for Prism Capital Partners’ Edison Lofts at Edison Village in West Orange. Likaont and Yoo both work for The Marketing Directors, a leading residential development advisory firm that has been instrumental in introducing Edison Lofts to the consumer market.
NJBA, a leading trade association for the construction industry, recognizes contributors to New Jersey’s home-building sector with its annual awards program. Likaont (pictured, left), who serves as Edison Lofts’ leasing director, is a finalist in the “Leasing Consultant of the Year – Rental Communities” category, and Yoo (pictured, right), project manager, is a finalist in the “Leasing Marketing Director of the Year – Rental Communities” category. The 2020 awards ceremony is set for March 31 at Harrah’s in Atlantic City.

Prism’s industrial to residential-and-retail redevelopment of the historic Thomas Edison Invention Factory and Commerce Center continues to draw strong leasing interest, with occupancy nearing 75%. Edison Village, which sits on 21 acres on Main Street, includes 300 new luxury rental homes at The Residences at Edison Lofts and 34 apartments at The Mews at Edison Lofts. The community boasts extensive lifestyle amenities, ranging from a private fitness center, indoor pool and sauna, to a self-serve café, dog wash, indoor/outdoor rooftop lounge with views of the Manhattan skyline – and more.
Edison Village also includes 18,400 square feet of new retail and a 630-space parking structure. At build-out, the community will incorporate 230 townhouses as well.
