Founder of Case Real Estate Capital Will Participate on Panel for “Overview of Bridge Lending Market” Session
ROCHELLE PARK, N.J./MIAMI, FLA., Oct. 2, 2017 – Sanford Herrick, founder and managing principal of Case Real Estate Capital, LLC (Case), will participate on the panel for the “Overview of Bridge Lending Market” session at the 2017 Crittenden Real Estate Finance Conference. The session will take place on Friday, October 27, starting at 10:15 a.m. at the Mandarin Oriental Miami Hotel in Miami, Florida. The conference was rescheduled due to Hurricane Irma.
During the “Overview of Bridge Lending Market” session, Herrick and his fellow panelists will discuss the types of bridge loans available today, including first mortgages, second mortgages, mezzanine loans and preferred equity. In addition, they will provide insight on the types of properties lenders are financing and the structure of those loans.
Herrick has orchestrated investments in more than $5 billion worth of commercial real estate over the course of his 30+-year career, and in early 2013, he founded Case. Under his direction, the company has already surpassed the $125-million mark in investments, concentrating on deals in the $2.5 million to $40 million range for transitional assets located in the New York metro area and in South Florida. Case is active as a high-yield private lender; a financier of transitional properties; a provider of “bridge light capital;” a purchaser of performing, sub- and non-performing debt; and a mezzanine and equity investor.
