Hillrom and Marquis Health Consulting Services Partner for Educational Initiative
PHILADELPHIA, Oct. 26, 2021 — More than 50 Philadelphia-area respiratory therapists participated in a program aimed to help empower their contributions within skilled nursing care settings. Hillrom and Marquis Health Consulting Services partnered to bring the educational initiative to the region.
Tom Brennan, RRT, area vice president for Hillrom, led the dinner program, which was offered on two evenings at Maggiano’s Restaurant (Philadelphia and Cherry Hill locations). His discussions focused on new technologies that promote airway clearance therapy. Hillrom is a global medical technology leader. Its innovations, which touch over 7 million patients each day, enable earlier diagnosis and treatment to accelerate patient recovery.
“Supporting healthcare professionals with resources and continuing education opportunities is critical to promoting the best possible patient outcomes,” said Danielle Koons, regional director of market development at Marquis, which supports six skilled nursing facilities in the Greater Philadelphia area. “Marquis was so pleased to partner with Hillrom in this effort. Many of our client facilities have adopted Hillrom technologies, enabling them to care for higher-acuity respiratory patients.”
