Spring 2021 Occupancy Anticipated for Mixed-Use, Transit-Oriented Community

WOODBRIDGE, N.J., Oct. 14, 2020 – Frame-out is nearing completion for 10 Green Street at Woodbridge Station, marking a fall construction milestone at Prism Capital Partners’ transit-oriented redevelopment in downtown Woodbridge. The fifth and final story is taking shape for the building that will include 232 apartments and 12,000 square feet of street-level retail space, with an expected occupancy of spring 2021.

Prism purchased the five-acre, former Lucas Chevrolet dealership site at the corner of Rahway Avenue and Green Street in 2019 in a joint venture partnership with The Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Company. Situated next to Woodbridge Station in the heart of a dynamic, walkable downtown, 10 Green Street will feature a mix of studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom rental homes. A host of amenities including a community room with kitchen and bar, fitness center, outdoor pool, patio with grills and firepits, package room, conference room, and covered parking will round out the resident experience.

“Train access and upscale lifestyle amenities remain top-of-mind for today’s renters,” said Prism Capital Partners’ Robert Fourniadis, senior vice president, residential. “10 Greet Street is designed to meet ongoing demand for transit-oriented multifamily and offer residents the conveniences they want – both in-building and within walking distance.”

Prism’s Edwin Cohen, principal partner, added: “Projects like 10 Greet Street bring new residents, support existing businesses and attract new commerce. This formula is helping forward-looking, suburban New Jersey municipalities ensure vibrant futures for their downtowns.”

Nutley, N.J.-based Prism Capital Partners is an established leader in the redevelopment and adaptive reuse arena. The privately held owner/operator’s current Garden State projects also include Dunellen Station, a mixed-use, transit-oriented apartment community, and Wonder Lofts, the industrial-to-multifamily adaptive reuse of the former Wonder Bread factory in Hoboken.
