NEWARK, N.J., May 2, 2014 – The Best Western Robert Treat Hotel in Newark will host an open house highlighting its updated and rebranded facilities for business and social functions on Wednesday, May 14. Area business people are invited to attend the “Meet and Greet Party,” which will take place from 5 to 9 p.m., with a cocktail buffet and tours of the hotel’s catering space, conference rooms and hotel suites.
“We are excited about the opportunity to show off our ballrooms, meeting facilities and new menus to members of the regional business community,” said Leon Drogy, director of catering. “We want them to know that whether they are planning an intimate gathering for 10 people or a gala for 1,000 we can accommodate them and help them create a memorable event.”
The Best Western Robert Treat Hotel, located at 50 Park Place, is The Berger Organization’s flagship hotel asset. In addition to 176 beautifully appointed guestrooms, it offers five banquet facilities and six conference rooms providing more than 22,000 square feet of first-class space.
