Sponsorship Opportunities Still Available for Sept. 6 Fundraising Event to Benefit St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital

WOODLAND PARK, N.J., Aug. 20, 2014 – Eleven new sponsors have been announced for The 4 Miler at Garret Mountain, presented by SaxBST . Proceeds from the third-annual race event, scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 6 at Garret Mountain Reservation in Woodland Park, will benefit the Child Life Department at St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital in Paterson, New Jersey.

The lead sponsor, at the Titanium Level, is Valley National Bank based in Wayne, N.J. The regional banking institution operates 210 branches in 146 communities serving 16 counties throughout northern and central New Jersey, Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens and Long Island.

Joining Valley National Bank as sponsors are The Venetian Catering, New Jersey Physicians and legal firm Cole Schotz at the Gold Level as well as BNE Real Estate Group, Mountain Development, M&T Bank and Bukiet Building & Management Co. LLC at the Silver Level. Bronze Level sponsors include J. Fletcher Creamer & Son, Marc Demetriou/Residential Home Funding Corp. and Newman & Simpson LLP.

“We are extremely thankful for the generosity of this latest group of sponsors,” said Robert Paz, SaxBST’s managing partner. “Not only is the 4 Miler an inspirational event, it’s also a fun family day set in one of New Jersey’s most beautiful locations. Being a sponsor for this charity race is a great way for businesses and individuals to give back to the local community. Our goal is to build on last year’s incredible momentum and raise even more money for St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital.”

Various levels of sponsorship are still available to corporations, foundations and individuals interested in becoming involved in this year’s 4 Miler. These include Bronze, Silver, Gold, Titanium and Presenting levels, starting at $700 and including a wide range of benefits such as complimentary race entries and marketing/branding opportunities. Those interested in sponsorship packages can contact Danielle Atkinson at or (973) 472-6250 for more information.

SaxBST is absorbing all expenses associated with the 4 Miler in order to donate 100 percent of the proceeds raised through sponsorships directly to St. Joseph’s Child Life Department.

Open to runners and walkers of all skill levels, pre-registration for participants through Sept. 1 is $23 ($20 for USATF members). After Sept. 1 and on race day, registration is $25. To register for the event, which will be held rain or shine, visit
