Community Foundation for the Greater Capital Region Hosts Forum for Family Business Owners and Privately Held Company

ALBANY, N.Y., March 5, 2014 – SaxBST’s Stephen L. Ferraro, co-managing partner; Scott M. DeMarco, partner; and Robert Devine, partner, have been named guest panelists at the Succession Planning Forum, being hosted by the Community Foundation for the Greater Capital Region. The program is being held on Tuesday, March 18 from 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the New York State United Teachers (NYSUT) building, 800 Troy Schenectady Rd., Latham, N.Y.
Ferraro, DeMarco and Devine will join co-panelists Gary Dake from Stewart’s Shops; Elizabeth Miller from Miller Mechanical Services, Inc.; David Nettina from MRC Capital Group; and Daniel P. Nolan from Hugh Johnson Advisors. The interactive discussion will address issues, concerns and solutions for executives of family-owned and privately held companies. Case studies will be highlighted, including those employed in a crisis situation or as a means to address growth and enhance company value.
