Mayor Scibetta and the Easter Bunny Join in Community Event at Little Egg Harbor Skilled Nursing Facility

LITTLE EGG HARBOR, N.J. (April 6, 2023) — To the delight of attendees of all ages, Seacrest Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center in Little Egg Harbor recently hosted its 2nd Annual Easter Egg Hunt. Located at 1001 Center Street, Seacrest provides post-hospital care, short-term rehab and long-term residential care.

Festivities included photos with the Easter Bunny and the hunt for 1,500 candy-filled eggs, which the student government of Frog Pond Elementary School helped in filling this year. Little Egg Harbor Mayor Blaise Scibetta was in attendance, meeting with the local community.

“The Easter Egg Hunt has quickly become one of our favorite spring events here at Seacrest – for the whole community to share,” said Jacqueline Phillips, director of community relations. “Our thanks to Mayor Scibetta, the Frog Pond students, and of course, the Easter Bunny, for their help in making our holiday celebration even more special.”

Phillips noted that the Seacrest grounds were brightly decorated with colorful signs and Easter decorations, and each child at the event received a goody bag filled with snacks and treats. “We all can’t wait for next year!” she said.

Seacrest, which is undergoing a multi-million-dollar enhancement, carries a five-star designation from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) for both overall quality and quality of resident care. More information on the 171-bed skilled nursing facility and its programming can be found at seacrestrehabhc.com.
