Group Geared to Adults Ages 45 to 60 Will Hike Pyramid Mountain in Boonton, Enjoy Brunch and Informal Socializing

SOUTH ORANGE, N.J., August 18, 2014 – The (RE)Connections group of Temple Sharey Tefilo-Israel will take to the great outdoors with a nature hike at historic Pyramid Mountain in Boonton on Sunday, September 21 from 9:45 to 11:45 a.m. The hikers will be led by a guide who will point out flora and fauna along the trail and share tidbits of local history, then enjoy a prix fixe brunch together at the Montville Inn at noon. This event is open to all area residents who would like to become more acquainted with members of TSTI, a Reform synagogue in South Orange.
Anyone within the (RE)Connections age group is welcome to join the hikers; RSVP to Judy Krandel at jkrandel@gmail.com. Committee members will coordinate carpools to Pyramid Mountain and to the restaurant. Cost for the hike, guide and fixed price brunch is $36 per person.
(RE)Connections was recently formed for synagogue members who are approximately 45 to 60 years old who are seeking to renew their connection to TSTI and with each other, and enjoy activities with their peers. The group plans to hold a variety of social and other events throughout the year.
Temple Sharey Tefilo-Israel is a vibrant Reform congregation located at 432 Scotland Road in South Orange, N.J.
