Community is invited to enjoy a Carnival and Two Football Games; Archbishop John O’Hara will also celebrate the Eucharist

RAMSEY, N.J., Sept. 14, 2015 – Don Bosco Prep in Ramsey will continue to celebrate its 100th year with a Centennial Family Day on Saturday, September 26, 2015. The public and prospective students are invited to join current students, alumni and their families for a day of special events. A carnival with rides, games and food trucks starts at 1 p.m., followed by Sunday Eucharist at 4 p.m. led by Bishop John O’Hara, a 1963 graduate of the private Catholic high school for young men. The evening features a football double-header: St. John Bosco of California vs. St. Peter’s Prep of New Jersey at 5:30 p.m.; and Don Bosco Prep vs. Archbishop Rummel from Louisiana at 8:30 p.m.

Don Bosco Prep is located at 492 North Franklin Turnpike in Ramsey. Tickets for the carnival and football games are $20 for adults, $10 for students and seniors; children ages 7 and under are free. Pre-sale tickets are available on campus and tickets will also be sold at the gate. All-day parking passes are available for $25 on a first come-first served basis for pre-sale ticket holders only. Free off-site parking with shuttle buses to campus will be available at the Ramsey Rte. 17 train station or at Liberty Travel, 69 Spring St., Ramsey.
