Cornerstone at Branchburg Named Community of the Year
BARNEGAT, N.J. (June 7, 2023) – Walters, a leading builder, owner, and property manager, was honored this spring with nine awards for excellence in homebuilding at the annual FAME Awards presented by the Shore Builders Association of Central New Jersey (SBACNJ). The highly coveted Community of the Year Award was presented to Cornerstone at Branchburg, a premium income-restricted apartment community designed to attain LEED® and ENERGY STAR® certifications.
“It’s an incredible honor to be recognized again by Shore Builders and to be part of a wonderful event that celebrates homebuilding in New Jersey,” said Walters’ Joe Del Duca, partner and director of affordable housing. “Our team is dedicated to developing and building award-worthy communities with a focus on sustainable construction.”
In addition to Community of the Year, Cornerstone at Branchburg was presented with the following awards:
- Logo Design for an Affordable Housing Community
- Brochure for an Affordable Community
- Interior Merchandising for an Affordable Community
- Signage for an Affordable Community
- Builder Member Direct Mail Piece for an Affordable Community
- Sales Office for an Affordable Community
- Architectural Product Design for an Affordable Community.
The Leasing Agent of the Year award was presented to Brandi Nelson, Walters’ assistant property manager at Cornerstone at Barnegat and Cornerstone at Grassy Hollow.
The FAME (Fabulous Achievement in Marketing Excellence) Awards honor companies and individual builders, remodelers and associate members for excellence in marketing accomplishments in the homebuilding industry. Located in Lakewood, SBACNJ is a chartered local chapter of both the New Jersey Builders Association (NJBA) and the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) and is one of the largest local trade associations in the area.
