Reform Synagogue’s Free Program Offers Time for Sharing, Play and Camaraderie
SOUTH ORANGE, N.J., Jan. 8, 2013 – Temple Sharey Tefilo-Israel (TSTI) in South Orange offers support for moms and dads of babies ages newborn to 10 months through its weekly “Playgroup with a Purpose” program. The free group, which meets from 10:30-11:45 a.m. on Thursdays, is part of TSTI’s health and wellness programming for members of the community. The group provides a nurturing environment where parents can share experiences and resources, participate in facilitated discussion and enjoy each others’ company. The playgroup is facilitated by JFS Social Worker Beth Sandweiss and meets at TSTI, 432 Scotland Road in South Orange. Coffee and snacks are served.
