Beauty Concept Commits to 12,000 SF at Levin-Managed Retail Property

BRIDGEWATER, N.J. (April 27, 2023) – Strand Salon Studios is coming to Somerset Shopping Center in Bridgewater, expanding the growing brand’s brick-and-mortar footprint. Levin Management Corporation (LMC) is exclusive leasing and managing agent for the 219,000-square-foot Somerset County shopping center.
LMC Senior Leasing Representative Vanessa Fernandez-Kelty arranged the 12,000-square-foot lease on behalf of the landlord; Shane Wierks of Jeffery Realty represented the tenant.
Strand Salon Studios provides customizable high-end room rentals curated to meet the needs of hair stylists and other independent wellness/beauty professionals. The luxury spaces offer superior aesthetics and amenities. Strand Salon Studios currently operates five New Jersey locations – in Englewood, Long Branch, Pompton Plains/Wayne and two in Paramus – with additional studios coming soon.

The property’s retailers, restaurants and service providers include Christmas Tree Shops, Barnes & Noble, Fortunoff Backyard Store, Gap Factory, Pearl Vision, Optimum, Norman’s Hallmark, Pupcakes and Pawstries Barkery and Shoppe, Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa, TGI Fridays, and Men’s Wearhouse, among others.
Located at the junction of Route 202/206 and Route 28, and passed by 72,000 vehicles daily, Somerset Shopping Center offers prime accessibility and strong market demographics. The property draws almost 1.2 million visits per year, according to real-time traffic data from Placer.ai.
