Beauty Franchise to Open First Keystone State Location at Levin-Managed Center
High Pointe Commons
HARRISBURG, Pa., Aug. 29, 2022 – Sugaring NYC Organic Waxing & Lash Studio is coming to High Pointe Commons, becoming the latest personal care-focused tenant to join the evolving retail mix at the regional shopping center in Harrisburg. The new location will represent the first Pennsylvania studio for this growing franchise.
Commercial real estate services firm Levin Management Corporation (LMC) serves as exclusive leasing and managing agent for the 325,000-square-foot High Pointe Commons. Fred Younkin, leasing representative, arranged the 1,200-square-foot commitment; David Yablon of Katz & Associates represented the tenant.
Sugaring NYC Organic Waxing & Lash Studio, which currently has more than 100 locations nationwide, specializes in 100% natural hair removal; hypoallergenic, eco-friendly and unique skincare treatments; and eyelash services. Locations offer more than 40 different organic waxing treatments and service combinations, along with other services such as Keratin Lash Lift, a treatment to lift and boost natural lashes.
“High Pointe Commons’ tenant mix, including the presence of large national retail chains and several restaurants, made it a very attractive place to do business,” said Sugaring NYC Franchisee Ashruta Shettar. “Our products are environmentally friendly, and patrons can expect a high-quality, customer-focused experience in our new state-of-the-art studio. We are excited to be part of the Harrisburg community and look forward to meeting new clients.”
Shadow-anchored by high-volume Target and JCPenney stores, with junior anchor Christmas Tree Shops, High Pointe Commons is home to a mix of national and regional retail concepts, service providers and restaurants. The tenant roster includes Orangetheory Fitness, Sally Beauty, Petco, T-Mobile, Lane Bryant, Panera Bread, Subway, Chili’s, Famous Footwear, GNC, Hair Cuttery, Tropical Smoothie Café, Moe’s Southwest Grill, Teriyaki Madness, Five Guys and Friendly’s, among others.

High Pointe Commons serves as the focal point of a mixed-use development strategically positioned off Exit 2 of I-283. The property serves a residential population of more than 150,000 people within a five-mile radius and a daytime population of 121,000 within those same five miles.
LMC currently is marketing space availabilities at High Pointe Commons ranging from 1,600 to 8,500 square feet.
