Freehold, N.J., Skilled Nursing Facility One of Only Eight N.J. Honorees

FREEHOLD, N.J. (Nov. 20, 2023) — The Jewish Home for Rehabilitation & Nursing in Freehold has been recognized as a 2023 recipient of the Bronze – Commitment to Quality Award by the American Health Care Association and National Center for Assisted Living (AHCA/NCAL). The 150-bed skilled nursing facility, located at 1151 W. Main Street, provides post-hospital care, short-term rehab and long-term residential care.

AHCA/NCAL is the nation’s largest association of long-term and post-acute care providers. Created by AHCA/NCAL in 1995, the National Quality Award Program is a rigorous three-level process reviewed and judged by trained experts against a set of nationally recognized standards for organizational excellence.
The Jewish Home’s reputation for quality care and service is well established. The skilled nursing facility also has earned a Five-Star Overall rating from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). The center offers an array of clinical specialty programs in partnership with leading healthcare providers, catered specifically to regional demand. This includes orthopedic rehabilitation, cardiac and pulmonary care, chronic kidney disease (CKD) management, and memory care.
The Jewish Home includes a synagogue on premises, provides focused Jewish programming and offers OU certified Glatt Kosher cuisine. Further distinguishing the facility is its Russian cultural program, which features bilingual caregivers and medical professionals, authentic cuisine prepared in-house, special recreational activities, a Russian library, and Kartina TV.
