Top Mark Reflect Skilled Nursing Facility’s Quality Care and Services

The Jewish Home

FREEHOLD, N.J. (May 2, 2023) The Jewish Home for Rehabilitation & Nursing in Freehold has earned a Five-Star Overall rating from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). Located at 1151 W. Main Street, the 150-bed skilled nursing facility provides post-hospital care, short-term rehab and long-term residential care.

As part of the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services, CMS is responsible for quality standards in long-term care facilities through its survey and certification process; it gives each nursing home a rating of between one and five stars. Facilities with five stars are considered to have above average quality.

“The Jewish Home’s Five-Star Overall rating from CMS reflects the commitment of the facility’s entire team to provide superior care and services,” said Pam Montemurno, regional director of market development for Marquis Health Consulting Services, which supports The Jewish Home. “CMS’s Five-Star Quality Rating System is highly respected. On a daily basis, it is relied upon by consumers, families and caregivers, as well as business partners.”

The Jewish Home includes a synagogue on premises, provides focused Jewish programming and offers OU certified Glatt Kosher cuisine. Its specialized programming aims to meet the specific healthcare needs of the local community. Further distinguishing the facility is its Russian cultural program, which features bilingual caregivers and medical professionals, authentic cuisine prepared in-house, special recreational activities, a Russian library, and Kartina TV.

The Jewish Home is committed to serving as a healthcare resource. To that end, the facility has established a library of physician-curated content, addressing many topics of interest; it can be found at jewishhomefreehold.org.
