North Bethesda Community the Only Md. Assisted Living Recipient at Bronze Level

NORTH BETHESDA, Md. (June 18, 2024)Exceptional care and services at The Terraces at Tuckerman Lane are being recognized at the national level. The assisted living community, located at 5550 Tuckerman Lane in North Bethesda, has earned a 2024 Bronze – Commitment to Quality Award from theAmerican Health Care Association and National Center for Assisted Living (AHCA/NCAL)for its commitment to improving the lives of residents.  

The Terraces at Tuckerman Lane is the only Maryland assisted living community to receive the Bronze-level award this year.  

The AHCA/NCAL represents more than 14,000 non-profit and proprietary skilled nursing centers, assisted living communities, sub-acute centers, and homes for individuals with intellectual and development disabilities. The National Quality Award Program is a rigorous three-level process reviewed and evaluated by trained experts against a set of nationally recognized standards for organizational excellence which are designed to help organizations improve the quality of life and care of long-term care residents over time.
