WEST ORANGE, N.J., May 2, 2013 – Tracey Goldstein, Esquire, a Member of Feinstein, Raiss, Kelin & Booker, L.L.C. of West Orange, N.J, will serve as a featured speaker at the Spring Management Event sponsored May 9 and 10 by JAHMA in association with The New Jersey Housing & Mortgage Finance Agency.
The seminar, entitled “Family Issues in Affordable Housing Properties,” will be held on Thursday, May 9, 2013, from 1:30 – 2:45 p.m. at the Revel Hotel, 500 Boardwalk, Revel Beach, Atlantic City, N.J.
Goldstein will serve on a panel that addresses family issues in affordable housing. She will cover the steps a property manager should take when the tenant named on the lease dies, leaving unauthorized occupants in the
apartment, and how an owner can obtain legal possession of the apartment. She will also address the notices that must be sent as well as the required proof needed to evict those unauthorized occupants. Learning credits
include NAHMA CEU: NAHP, NAHP-e, NAHMS, NAHMT and CPO.
Goldstein focuses her practice on landlord/tenant issues, which include fair housing matters, bed bug litigation, and residential and commercial evictions. She is an established speaker and instructor for prominent legal and multi-family housing organizations in New Jersey and has handled matters in the New Jersey State and Federal Trial Courts as well as the Appellate Division and the New Jersey Supreme Court. Her clients include property owners, managers and developers.
